Policy, Planning, Research, Monitoring And Evaluation

INTRODUCTION

This unit is responsible for the Strategic Planning of programs and Projects and ensures that they are monitored and evaluated periodically in collaboration with heads of technical units.

The unit is responsible for conducting research, into the development and impact of modules to make inputs into geological policy and the development of geological strategies and action plans. It also commissions research, compiles and analyzes data to improve module development for effective and efficient decision making of the Authority.

The unit also provides processed data as input into policy at the Authority and maintains an efficient database and information technology systems on the profile of the Authority.

The unit ensures the provision of an effective basis for measuring the various stages of programs and projects of the authority as well as providing an objective basis for assessing the effectiveness of its programs and projects.
